ACADEMIC YEAR A period of time schools use to measure a quantity of study.
ACCEPTED Your Award has been calculated. You have been informed of the award amounts. You have accepted the award amounts.
COST OF ATTENDANCE The total amount it will cost a student to go to UNLV.
DEFAULT Failure to repay a loan according to the terms agreed towhen you signed a promissory note.
DISBURSED Your Award has been transmitted to the Bursar's Office, and applied to your University Account.

FEDERAL STAFFORD LOANS Loans that are made to students.
GRANT Financial assistance that does not have to be repaid.

PENDING Your award is awaiting action to disburse.
PERKINS LOAN Loans offered by participating schools to provide students that demonstrate the most need with low-interest loans.
REVISED Your Financial Assistance has been reviewed. Your original offer has been revised. You must sign and sumbit a revised Notice of Eligibility.
TRANSMITTED Your Award has been transmitted to the Bursar's Office, and applied to your University Account.
WORK STUDY A program which allows the student to earn money in a position, while enrolled in school to help pay for education expenses.
