Regular Student Employment

Program Overview

Departments are responsible for 100% of the student’s wages. Students do not need to qualify for financial aid in order to participate in regular student employment.

Student Requirements

  • Undergraduate GPA requirement 2.0
  • Graduate/Professional GPA requirement 3.0
  • Undergraduate enrollment requirement 6 credits/semester
  • Graduate/Professional enrollment requirement 5 credits/semester
  • Be a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, or U.S. permanent resident with an I-151 or an I-551, or an alien authorized by the Immigration and Naturalization Service to work in the United States. Refer to the I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification Form for additional information.

Summer Term

Students not enrolled in the summer term may work during the summer term under regular student employment if they meet one of the following requirements:

  • Student was enrolled for the minimum number of credits the previous spring semester
  • Student is enrolled for the minimum number of credits for the following fall.
